Job Description
We are hiring, join our team! Heartfelt Impressions Lake Orion is actively seeking a Preschool childcare teacher to serve as an additional resource for our teaching staff. You will provide support and coverage to the teaching staff so they can utilize their planning time effectively, as well as provide coverage during breaks and lunches. You will also serve as an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children.
Our Lake Orion campus has two preschool classrooms and one young preschool classroom. At
Heartfelt Impressions , we use the High Scope curriculum in all classrooms. Our Lake Orion campus has received the Great Start Quality certificate of recognition and has been voted Readers’ Choice Best of the Best for consecutive years.
Job Location : Lake Orion, Michigan
Job Type : Regular, Full-time
Schedule : Monday – Friday
Shift: Days, 10am-6pm
Salary Range : $13-$16/hour (
depending on education, certifications, and years of experience )
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire).
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
Some essential functions of the Preschool Resource teacher are…- Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often.
- Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
- Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
- Support lead and assistant teacher
- Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
- Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
- Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
- Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
