Music eacher | Teach in Jeddah | USA Common Core School

I am seeking a strong female music teacher to join my client for the next academic year. My client was established in 2013 delivering the US Common Core to mainly Saudi national students. The school is accredited by AIAA and AdvancED and has grown on its reputation. The ideal candidate will have experience of the USA Common Core and have experience of working in the GCC region to help students raise their language levels.  You need to be a teacher that is able to turn a dry topic into something engaging and practical and can create a classroom full of inspiration to enrich students lives.

Salary Package

1. TAX FREE salary of 8,000 SAR - 10,000 SAR per month
2. FREE shared furnished housing (own bedroom and bathroom, sharing a kitchen and lounge)
3. FREE medical insurance
4. FREE work visa and residency cover
5. FREE annual flights
6. Gratuity as per KSA labour law
7. A 2 year contract which is renewable

Teaching couples or teaching friend are highly recommended to apply due to the housing provided. The school is well resourced with housing close by. The housing is shared (with own bedroom and bathroom). You will only be sharing the kitchen and lounge but if you are a teaching couple or teacher friends this would be ideal for you.

Requirements to Apply

1. Degree in Music
2. Valid state teaching license in Musics
3. M.Ed in Maths preferred
4. An ABRSM or music specialist certificate highly beneficial
5. Excellent command of written and spoken English
6. Up to date with modern pedagogy
7. Experience of the USA Common Core is essential
8. Have experience of working with technology in the classroom (IWB)

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Prefer candidates with international experience

Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Additional:

**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in primary education
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you
**Singles teachers or teaching couples with NO CHILDREN are preferred

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 8000 up to 10000  SAR (Saudi Arabian Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Gratuity Amount:
